There Will Never Be Another Film Like The Goonies!
The Goonies was the funniest summer movie ever made. Now that is saying a lot! Sadly, this classic can never be remade let alone copied as it is truly a classic. This film represents the fantasies of every preteen in America in not only finding treasure but also thwarting a group of villains. Hollywood has recently been creating remakes of classic films and should Hollywood do a remake of The Goonies, it will never recapture the magic and the glory of the original. Never again shall such a movie be made like this.
Sure, Hollywood could make a film like The Goonies, but such films would be mediocre and not as appealing to anyone. It just would not be as good or as great. There is an old saying that says, “Often imitated never duplicated.”That right there even relates to The Goonies as such a classic will never be done again. It is one of those Once A Generation things that can never be done again no matter how often Hollywood attempts to do so. Movies like The Goonies were made because the film makers wanted to create these films because they wanted to tell a story.
