Reasons You Should Not Buy Star Wars On Blue-Ray

Recently, the mega popular Star Wars has been released on Blu-Ray. These movies are of the original trilogy which feature the legendary Luke Skywalker and his allies taking on the villainous Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire. As a long time fan of Star Wars, knowing the original trilogy has been released on Blu-Ray with all new edits and scenes should make me happy. But the sad thing is I am not happy with what the Blu-Ray Special Addition has in regards to Star Wars. I have no desires to buy it and nor should you. Here are my reasons why I will not buy the new Blu-Ray Star Wars.

First of all, the fact that many new scenes were added in just for the sake of adding them in upsets me. I am quite positive that George Lucas had reasons for removing certain scenes. However, with each new Special Addition, more and more cut scenes are added in to fluff up the movie. In fact, the only reason why Greedo’s scene where he first shoots Han Solo was added to put to rest the notion of Who Shot First.
Another reason that I will not buy the Blu-Ray Star Wars is how they turned Darth Vader from a cold, heartless warrior we know him in the Trilogy as an emotional being who shouts,”No!” when he throws down Emperor Palpatine. Why that was added, I do not know.

Still, I find it very insulting when these Special Additions bastardize the overall greatness of a classic. Sure, in some cases, Special Addition movies add to the magic of the movie, but when it is overdone, then it starts to cheapen the overall greatness of the film. Top Five Movies That Don’t Make Any Sense

Everyone has gone to see a film that looked intriguing in the previews and trailer, only to leave the theater totally confused and feeling absolutely cheated. Here are the top five movies that did just that:
Starting at the bottom to keep you in suspense for the absolute worst movie, lands us at The Watchmen. The previews for this blockbuster made this look like the most awesome film ever. Then you get to the end and all you can do is scratch your head and ask, “What?” Next we move on to “2001: A Space Odyssey. This helps explain it more. ” An absolute mess if I have ever seen one. The redeeming factor for this is it was at least funny. Bringing us to the half-way point is “Being John Malkovich.” All I can say is why? Our number two position belongs to “The Box.” Sorry, but it really did not pull together in the end in a way that made me feel like I had not just wasted two hours of my life. And the king of all movies that made absolutely no sense is ‘Sphere.” Michael Crichton did some great work, but this is not one of them. The most ridiculous ending of all time is brought to life in this waste of film.

There Will Never Be Another Film Like The Goonies!

The Goonies was the funniest summer movie ever made. Now that is saying a lot! Sadly, this classic can never be remade let alone copied as it is truly a classic. This film represents the fantasies of every preteen in America in not only finding treasure but also thwarting a group of villains. Hollywood has recently been creating remakes of classic films and should Hollywood do a remake of The Goonies, it will never recapture the magic and the glory of the original. Never again shall such a movie be made like this.
Sure, Hollywood could make a film like The Goonies, but such films would be mediocre and not as appealing to anyone. It just would not be as good or as great. There is an old saying that says, “Often imitated never duplicated.”That right there even relates to The Goonies as such a classic will never be done again. It is one of those Once A Generation things that can never be done again no matter how often Hollywood attempts to do so. Movies like The Goonies were made because the film makers wanted to create these films because they wanted to tell a story. Enough Is Enough, Stop Making Fake Documentary Films!

Enough is enough with these fake movie documentaries! We here are sick and tired of Hollywood creating false documentaries that either distort the truth or create an entire misconception of the truth. Such documentary films, most notably The Zeitgeist, are pure examples how the truth can be distorted for the sake of someone’s corrupt agenda. These movies do not inspire anyone nor are they truthful, these documentary films merely distort everything that is truth. Therefore, Hollywood should put a stop to such horrible documentary films that are neither truthful nor educational.I was looking for more information and found it here. There is enough fiction in this world as it is and we do not need another misleading documentary film adding to the endless library of what isn’t real. I for one say its time to stand up against such insulting films that only insult our intelligence as opposed to enhancing it. Hollywood really needs to wake up and realize what garbage is passing for documentary films these days. We live in a time of great knowledge but sadly we also live in a time of great ignorance. Not one of these films is helping anyone bit because they only add to the problem of our ever expanding ignorance. Please Hollywood, enough is enough!
